COLORADO GANG trip to Hawaii 2009

Here's some pictures from our recent visit from Renee, Cheryl, Bradley & Brendan - boy, it went by way too fast, but we had lots of fun and can't wait until we do this again!!!!

Happy 5th (May 5) Birthday Makoa!

Makoa had a great time celebrating his 5th birthday with his Pali Preschool friends as well as family/friends at our home with an elephant themed party! We even had the Tumble Bus come over and the kids loved it! I still can't believe he's 5 already....my how time flies!!!!!

The kids all got to paint a elephant bank to take home :)

Makoa's May Day Program 2009

Pali Preschool had its annual May Day Program May 1. Makoa's class did "Opihi Man in the Sun". It's so precious to see those kids on stage :) And of course, they had a May Day Court too...so awesome! :) This is the part I enjoy now that the kids are in school....

Hilo Trip - Spring Break 2009

We decided to go on a small get-away with the kids for Spring Break. We figured Hilo was our attempt to see if the kids would be ready to go to Disneyland next year......ah, NO! Jus' kidding...they were a handful, but they also enjoyed themselves. We did too as we spent Keola's birthday there as well as our 6th anniversary. All in all, it was a great mini family vacation! Enjoy our pix!!!!

First stop - 2 Ladies Mochi for their ONO strawberry mochi with azuki bean...YUMMY!

Day 2 - Kilauea Volcano National Park

At the Volcano House - you can actually see the volcano's smoke...the kids were so amazed!

Richardson Black Sand Beach - The water was cold, but that didn't stop the kids from playing in the black sand. They loved playing in it and swimming with the turtles. What an AWESOME experience!
