We decided to go on a small get-away with the kids for Spring Break. We figured Hilo was our attempt to see if the kids would be ready to go to Disneyland next year......ah, NO! Jus' kidding...they were a handful, but they also enjoyed themselves. We did too as we spent Keola's birthday there as well as our 6th anniversary. All in all, it was a great mini family vacation! Day 2 - Kilauea Volcano National Park

At the Volcano House - you can actually see the volcano's smoke...the kids were so amazed!

Richardson Black Sand Beach - The water was cold, but that didn't stop the kids from playing in the black sand. They loved playing in it and swimming with the turtles. What an AWESOME experience!
